This is my great-grandmother. She is now 95 years old. She came to visit us this holiday season and she never fails to bring copious amounts of stories from her lifetime. What I learned this trip: she had a heart-attack at 28 years-old, she would make 17 pies at a time to share with neighbors, she would compete with the other ladies in her neighborhood to see who had the cleanest house/could cook the best/had the best looking legs. (Things don't really change do they?) We took her to the temple- it has been more years than anyone could remember. It was a humbling experience and I decided I don't want to get old.
